Sales vs Marketing? What’s more important? Salespeople will say sales. Marketing people will say marketing. I say both. Marketing generates the leads, but sales converts the leads. Therefore, sales has to be part of the strategy in order for marketing to execute the strategy. Too often, we see sales and marketing operating in silos when they should be working together hand in hand! 

 

When we launched The Middle Six® in April of 2022, our first priority was to make significant investments in developing and executing a strong marketing strategy. We made marketing a priority because I could meet someone at an event, have a great conversation, and even "sell" them on our services, but without a polished online presence, I risked losing the deal. When potential clients vet my brand online, they need to see that I have my act together, or all the trust and connection I built in person could be lost. 

 

Our marketing strategy is simple, and it helps us convert. It’s all about the C’s over here at The Middle Six®.

 

📅 Consistency | We connect with people on LinkedIn in a timely manner. We post on social media regularly. We publish our newsletter once a month. Our brand standards are followed to a T. 

 

✨ Cutting Edge | We stay ahead by participating in the latest trends. Some may say we're very demure....very mindful about the way we present our brand to keep it fresh and forward-thinking.

 

📸 Content | Content is king, and we make sure to capture every moment. We're always taking pictures, filming videos, and jotting down ideas.

Show me your fleet! Casper’s Truck Equipment was one of our favorite Sales Boot Camp clients this year.

We had a dozen awesome employees come together for their quarterly meeting, and they took it seriously! It was incredible watching their team have breakthrough moments together, and walk out of the room united and confident in what they are selling.  

 

What are they selling? Trucks. So this is fun. Every “work truck” you see driving down the street started as a chassis. What’s a chassis you ask? (I didn’t know!) It’s basically just 4 wheels and a steering wheel. Someone needs to create the rest of the truck and make it support the work that it needs to do! Fire Trucks, Utility Trucks, Construction Trucks, Landscaping Trucks… literally all the trucks. This team is making truck dreams come true. If you know someone that needs their ride pimped, or someone that works with fleets of vehicles, PLEASE let us know so we can make an introduction to the amazing Casper’s team!
